Lynda Carter is an American singer and actress most famously known for her role as Wonder Woman from the television show of the same name in the 1970s. In addition to her many performances on television and in films, she is considered a cultural icon. Alongside her extensive acting career Lynda is credited with producing and starring in five highly rated network television specials for CBS many of which were Emmy Award nominated. Onstage, she has shared the stage with world well-known performers like Ray Charles Tom Jones Kenny Rogers George Benson Ben Vereen. Lynda first began her singing career at fourteen years old in Tempe Arizona.
